Rosie O’Donnell is quick to accuse President Donald Trump of all kinds of bogus crimes, but when she is caught red-handed, she blames it on her mental issues. The hefty actress is obsessed with ousting the president. She spends 24/7 on social media and posts wild rants. Now, serious criminal charges surrounding a campaign finance scheme have been leveled against the 56-year-old liberal activist, and she’s setting up an insanity defense. Don’t miss this.
Rosie is in one hot mess after it was discovered that she broke campaign finance laws. There is no way this was a casual mistake, even if someone is “out of their mind” crazy. The New York Post reports, “Rosie O’Donnell made illegally over-sized campaign donations to at least five Democratic federal candidates, according to a Post analysis of campaign filings.”
They add, “The liberal comedian has regularly broken Federal Election Commission rules limiting the total any one person can give to an individual candidate at $2,700 per election. The limit applies separately to primaries, runoffs and general elections.”
In fact, most donations pages like the one for Donald Trump will not allow you to put in an amount over the $2,700 dollar option. This is no joke for the obese celebrity, she could see prison time.
The Post continues, “Filings show O’Donnell gave a combined $5,400 in contributions over the limit to the five candidates and used five different New York addresses and four variations of her name. Wow, that sure appears to be a straight case of trying to “game the system.”
O’Donnell donated $2,950 to California Rep. Adam Schiff, a 17-year veteran of the House, for his primary, according to his campaign filings. His campaign didn’t return messages seeking comment.
Lauren Underwood, an Illinois congressional candidate, reported $4,200 from O’Donnell for her primary, filings show. Her campaign didn’t return a message. And Omar Vaid, a little-known congressional candidate in Staten Island and Brooklyn, reported $3,450 in primary donations from O’Donnell.
The list goes on like that with the crazed leftist actress giving over $90,000 for the 2017-2018 election cycle to 50 different federal candidates and committees, filings show.
You get the picture. O’Donnell clearly was out to get around the campaign finance laws, but she’s figured out a stealth alibi. The Trump-hating actress told The New York Post in an e-mail, “My anxiety is quelled by donating to those opposing Trump [and] his agenda — especially at night — when most of these were placed.”
Oh, you see where she is going with this, right? She was blinded by her anxiety and sleepless nights induced by a new malady called “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” She was temporarily insane with anxiety and had no idea what she was doing.
Tell that to Dinesh D’Souza. Some of you may recall that he was convicted of a felony for a lot less. His donations totaled $20,000 dollars. He was sentenced to eight months in jail with the help of Barack Obama’s good friend Preet Bharara, who President Trump fired, and had to pay a $30,000 fine.
The Los Angeles Times reported, “Dinesh D’Souza, the conservative pundit and filmmaker behind the scathing documentary ‘2016: Obama’s America,’ has been sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay a $30,000 fine for violating campaign finance laws…and must spend eight months of his probation as a resident of a community confinement center.”
D’Souza admitted to illegally directing close associates in 2012 to make $20,000 in contributions to U.S. Senate candidate Wendy Long, a New York Republican, who ended up losing to Democratic incumbent Kirsten Gillibrand in 2014.
After learning about Rosie’s alleged crimes, D’Souza tweeted, “Five times more egregious than my case. Now let’s see if Lady Justice is truly blind.”
Jager Mench responded to D’Souza’s tweet, posting, “She is an awful person and a criminal. She needs to go to prison. #ArrestRosieOdonnel.”
It’s funny that Rosie is silent on her Twitter account, refusing to address her alleged crimes. She made up names and addresses for the illegal donations which to me doesn’t sound like “Trump Derangement Syndrome” but pre-meditation of the crime. She knew exactly what she was doing.
So is it time to lock nutjob Rosie up? If you ask Dinesh D’Souza, he will say “hell yes.” Maybe the court could also stipulate she cease and desist from all social media for 10 years and pay a hefty donation to the Trump campaign. Rosie has finally gone too far. Let’s make sure this case doesn’t “slip through the cracks” of our justice system. Make sure that everyone knows about this.
