Marine Dad Makes School PAY After Pushing Islamic Propaganda On Daughter

All across the country, we’ve heard stories of schools pushing religious propaganda on students, but one Marine Corps veteran has had enough of it. After learning about the enraging lesson plans being fed to his daughter, he decided to make the school pay… big time.

The Five Pillars Of Islam

Marine veteran John Kevin Wood and his wife, Melissa Wood, are fed up with the way their daughter’s school promotes Islam over other religions, so they decided to use the legal system to put an end to it once and for all. According to the Washington Free Beacon, the Woods’ daughter attends La Plata High School, where her World History class seems like a sermon given at a mosque, and they filed a suit in U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland against the school for violating her Constitutional rights.
The case was taken by the Thomas More Law Center and charges that the school prioritized Islam over other religions by devoting a full two weeks to it, while only spending a mere day on Christianity. Also, students were taught the Five Pillars of Islam, forced to recite the Islamic “Shahada,” which is considered a creed that amounts to the conversion of Islam by non-Muslims, and taught that the beliefs of Muslims are stronger than Christians.
More on the suit from the Free Beacon:
Their daughter and her fellow students were instructed to write out the Islamic creed “Shahada,” which says, “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” When recited by non-Muslims, the creed amounts to conversion to Islam.
Students were also required to memorize and recite the Five Pillars of Islam and were subjected to disparaging teachings about Christianity.

“Most Muslims’ faith is stronger than the average Christian,” one worksheet read.
The class also spent one day covering Christianity, while teachers devoted two weeks to instructing about Islam.
Upon learning of the lessons prioritizing Islam, Wood, who is Christian, contacted the school and demanded alternative assignments for his daughter. The school refused to allow his daughter to opt out of the assignments and threatened her with failing grades if they were not completed. She elected not to complete the worksheets.
Now, do you see why they were upset? To make matters worse, when Wood, a Christian himself, went to the school to protest the assignments and demanded his daughter be given an alternative, the school refused to allow her to opt-out and threatened a failing grade if she didn’t complete the work. Ultimately, she decided not to complete the assignments, and after complaints from her father, the school’s administration banned him from being on school grounds.
The complaint charges that the Woods’ daughter was discriminated against “by removing her from the academic environment of her World History class, relegating her to the student library, and issuing her failing grades on assignments because [she] refused to deny and insult her Christian beliefs.”
When making the announcement of the lawsuit on Wednesday, the Thomas More Law Center warned other parents that “Islamic indoctrination” is rapidly spreading across schools in the country under the guise of “history and multiculturalism.” The firm’s president, Richard Thompson, advised other parents to “take action against it” like the Woods have before it’s too late.
